    Description

    One of our reputed clients in Bahrain, a well-established Ship Dockyard Company, is urgently seeking qualified Mechanical Engineers with strong experience in ship repair and maintenance operations.

    Responsibility

    • Oversee mechanical repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of ship machinery and equipment.
    • Inspect and diagnose mechanical issues in engines, pumps, valves, compressors, and hydraulic systems.
    • Prepare repair plans, allocate resources, and supervise technicians during maintenance tasks.
    • Ensure all mechanical work complies with shipyard safety standards and international marine regulations.
    • Review technical drawings, specifications, and repair manuals.
    • Coordinate with production, engineering, and QA/QC teams for smooth workflow.
    • Prepare reports, documentation, and daily progress updates.

    Requirements

    • Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
    • Mandatory experience in ship repair or shipyard operations.
    • Strong knowledge of marine mechanical systems and equipment.
    • Ability to lead teams and manage repair activities efficiently.
    • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
    • GCC experience is an advantage.
